How Law of Attraction Help Can Help Your Personal Growth

February 5th, 2010 by Carole No comments »

The laws of attraction can be so important when you are trying to understand your own unique personality and how to make the laws of attraction work for you. Failures and successes are a part of life and should be taken in the same spirit. Learn from your failures, but don’t keep repeating them. Learn as well from your successes and how you can achieve more of them.

First, know what you want. Keep it simple. Put out exactly and very specifically what it is that you want…then meditate and work on it and you will attract it in time.

Deal with your failures right as they occur. Learn and move forward. To keep them bottled up inside you and drag them, like “baggage” wherever you go will only complicate your life and can keep you from taking new actions that can be very rewarding.

Remember this: what you think is what you are. This is one of the most fundamental and important laws of attraction. If you are always surrounded by negative, pessimistic thoughts, it will affect you in a negative way. You will start to be more negative yourself and it will hamper your own growth and personality development. You may want to take a look at the relationships you have and analyze them thinking if they are “toxic” for you. Think about how these relationships make you feel. Do you feel uplifted or drained when you are around that relationship.

Ideally…it’s to take all your failures as lessons. Learn from them to better your life. Take the opportunity to look at these incidents and understand better your weaknesses and some things that you may have done wrong and then don’t repeat them in the future. By tweaking your failures or near failures, you can pave the way for great success.

The law of attraction is like a flow. It is like the quality of ease that can be incorporated into ones life to give it a feel of effortless achievement. There is no striving. You are tapping into abundance. It may sound abstract, but It’s really not as elusive as it may seem. We all know people who go through life attracting opportunities or those who have a knack for being at the right place at the right time to connect with the right people. But, you can learn how to manifest attraction and increase your “luck factor’!

Below are some things you may want to consider as you are working towards a positive personality to be more “attractive”

First, learn you accept yourself just the way you are. Realize that we all have shortcomings and limitations or weaknesses. There is no exception to this. You need to first love yourself, or how will you be able to love and accept other people?

No matter what your circumstances are at the moment, learn to take control. Don’t start to pity yourself, or you will have lost half the battle from the start..

Don’t surround yourself with people who have a lot of negativity or it will get to you. Try and encourage them see the brighter side of life if possible. But learn to let go when you need to, in order to achieve your goals.

No matter how messed up things may seem, remember – tomorrow will always be a new day and a new beginning. Stop thinking about your failures. Learn to fix things the best you can.
Or, come up with a better plan. We’re all – always in “process” . You can never “arrive’.
You should always be learning and growing. Remember; Healthy living things Grow!

It’s important to set goals for yourself. But make sure that the goals are realistic. Also it’s very important that you reward yourself when you achieve results.

Proven Methods of Customer Retention

January 2nd, 2010 by Carole No comments »

It is accepted business wisdom that a returning customer, (or a working recruit) is the best kind. In a competitive market where people have so many choices, customers who keep ordering and/or working to duplicate their efforts, indicate that they are satisfied with their initial purchase or business decision and that they trust you.

Trust is an invaluable component in any business relation and if maintained and nurtured, is an assured asset which will yield returns over and over again. If you are running a Network Marketing Business it’s crucial that you do what you can to lead your customers or recruits to success and that they are happy with the products they purchase.

So an important part of your job in retaining your existing customers is to keep them thinking of their business. You cannot afford to neglect or ignore them at any stage if you want them to stick with you. You have to make provisions for free trainings etc. and make arrangements for keeping them informed to sustain their interest.

It is easy if your customers come through Internet campaigns, because you can then use email lists to keep them informed, interested and ordering on a regular basis.

But, in the more traditional brick and mortar world, this is a bit more taxing and cumbersome. You may have to invest in print or media ads and direct mailings.

If you use only email, you need to be especially careful and make sure that you are providing your potential customers sufficient reason to continue being on your list. You could try and make available to them significant information about their interests and preferred topics. If you are able to bring them to your website through your email, you could introduce them to other products and offers.

Connect with your customers and make records about their interests, wants and preferences. You can then provide customized training and information for their guaranteed success and satisfaction. This will keep them motivated.

Another simple and effective way to build relations with your customer is to send them e-cards or greeting cards containing a simple expression of your appreciation for them. Make them feel special and help them understand how they can benefit by staying active in your program.

The advantage of greeting cards is that they are more discreet, more personal and more warm, things that your customer may remember you by.

Children’s Health and Healthy Eating

December 13th, 2009 by Carole No comments »

You might be taking things a bit too casually as far as the health of your child is concerned, but sooner or later you may regret it. It is a fact that more and more kids are getting addicted to junk food. They hate home made food and are more at ease with hot dogs and other junk foods. As a responsible parent, it is time that you realized that these junk foods are slowly taking their toll on your child and that sooner or later they will end up being obese. When did you last take the weight of your child?

Have you ever observed that they hardly exercise and are slowly becoming couch potatoes? It is high time that you took some steps to identify the harmful effects of obesity in your kids since the same leads to a number of health problems like: Asthma, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol levels. A part of the blame lies in the current generation models too. Our kids identify themselves with these models that they watch on the TV and try to ape them.

If the model proclaims that he or she is eating a particular brand of food and that that particular brand of food is healthy, the kids will immediately start taking that food without bothering to study if those foods are suitable for their health or not. Do not blame the kids for they are too young to identify between what is good and bad. If they had that level of maturity, they would have never consumed the latest brand of fast food. It is your duty as caring parents to see what your kids consume and try to feed them foods that are healthy for them.

Apart from health issues, there are some psychological factors that are associated with obesity. You kid will suffer from psychological effects when he or she is bullied at school and being called names because of their obesity. They will form the fear of being disliked and eventually will avoid attending school. There is one more thing that you should not forget. Just providing your kids with healthy food is not sufficient. You need to ensure that they follow this up with regular exercise. These exercises can be in the form of physical activities like swimming, jumping, running, climbing up trees etc.

Also, these physical activities will help burn up the extra calories present in your kid thereby not permitting it to turn over into fat. You need to keep an especially when your kids are 3-4 years old. It is during this age that they form good or bad habits. If you imbibe the habits of eating good food and doing exercise during this period, then they shall get habituated to the same and retain it for the rest of their lives. Whatever else you do, never force a child to eat something that he or she dislikes initially. Give them sufficient time to get accustomed to the taste of the new food.

The Truth About Childhood Obesity

December 11th, 2009 by Carole No comments »

The bitter truth is that nearly 70% of American youth are obese. They lead a casual lifestyle and do not bother about the basics… the end result being that they turn fat. Till a few decades back, the teenagers used to eat at least 2 square meals at home… all this has changed now. People just do not have the time, and, even if they do have the time, they do not have the inclination to eat at home. The wholesome and nutritious food that one eats at home can never be had from the market.

The junk food… sometimes also called as fast food… is prepared using saturated fatty acids which cannot be properly digested by the human digestive system. The end result is that the food remains back in the body. Instead of burning up and providing calories, it turns into fat. A measuring system known as BMI (body mass index) is used by pediatricians to evaluate obesity in children. Have we… the parents… ever thought how are we contributing to this mess? We worry too much about our kids and never bother to think twice before giving them a healthy amount of cash as pocket expenses.

We don’t seem to bother to see if our kids are getting sufficient exercise or not. If the kid across the street is eating a certain food, we ensure that our kid also has access to that food… despite the fact that his or her body might not require that extra amount of nourishment. Unless we, the parents start taking control of the eating habits of our children, we shall be putting their future health at risk from obesity. We should ensure that our kids do sufficient exercise so that the food they eat gets burnt up properly.

We should also ensure that our kids do not eat unhealthy food. If required consult a pediatrician and seek their advise. Basically, we should be able to identify why our kids are getting fat and then try and resolve those issues. Do not rush things if you are not successful in your first attempt. Childhood obesity is a thing that needs patience to tackle. If necessary, meet the pediatrician a couple of times and seek his or help to assess what the problems are and whether the approach you are taking to resolve them is proper or not.

The worst thing that a parent can do is opting in for the so called herbal medications that promise to cure obesity in a matter of a few weeks. These medications have not yet proved their worth and are also not meant for kids and teenagers. Sit down with your kids and discuss the problem with them. Approach them as friends and not as parents. They will appreciate this approach and will be ready to listen to your solutions and accept them if addressed properly. The best thing that parents can do is setting an example. The good news is that kids are naturally active and with a bit of proper guidance will burn lots of calories, and shed their obesity.

You can help by providing healthy snacks for your children - foods that they love, that are satisfying, but contain good nutrition. Snacks should have protein and healthy nutrients.
